Equidistant is a 4-story permanent installation set in the atrium of the Courtyard-Marriott Austin (located at I-35 & 183). This project was completed in partnership with NINE dot ARTS and Sage Hospitality with the assistance of Austin Art Services.
“Cascading down four stories, the work hovers like a giant, silent waterfall above the hotel’s check-in desk, viewable from the first four floors. The work’s title comes from the geometric principle of the liminal space between two points that are an equal distance apart.”
