Today, I want to share something personal—and invite you to celebrate with me.

Five years ago today, on July 4th, 2020, I moved into a tiny ground-floor apartment with my two daughters. It was the first time we had a space that was truly ours after surviving years of narcissistic abuse, housing insecurity, and heartbreak. We had no privacy. We had roaches. But we also had walls—blank ones—waiting to be filled with color, healing, and art. That apartment became our sanctuary.

This year marks seven years since I left that relationship while one month pregnant and began fighting for my freedom. So this isn’t just Independence Day. It’s my Independence Day.

To honor that journey, I’ve created four hand-cut, hand-painted artworks in red, white, and blue. They’re about 18 inches each, made of mahogany plywood, signed on the back, and completely one-of-a-kind. I’m offering them in a raffle as a way to celebrate freedom, art, and new beginnings.

This ticket purchase stands for one entry for a chance to win an original 18” hand-carved, hand-painted art piece by artist Sparker (as shown in pictures). There are four choices, one winner will be announced at midnight each night for the next four nights. Infinite entries allowed. One winner per household. Artwork will be selected by the announced winner every night, leaving one piece at the end. Participants can purchase raffle tickets up until midnight on the final night. Tickets from previous nights will accumulate for greater chances of winning. Art pieces will get shipped out from Sparkerland (Mundelein, IL) on July 8th. Local winners can pick up in person, or delivery options are possible if arranged ahead.
